Both the surveys were conducted under the directions of Dr. Tarundeep Kaur, JCIT, TDS. The survey on M\/s Kandhari Beveratges was lead by Sh. Prem Malik, Dy. Commissioner of Income Tax (TDS) and on Randhawa Hospital was lead by Sh. Ajay Kumar, ITO TDS Amritsar. Numerous discrepancies pertaining to huge amounts were found and the assesseees were immediately made to surrender and deposit the requisite tax due. Important papers pertaining to TDS provision are taken to custody and are under further scrutiny. Joint Commissioner of Income Tax (TDS), Ludhiana Dr. Tarundeep Kaur told that the TDS wing is the leading tax collector of the region.
