Red Ribbon club is a movement started by Government of India in Educational Institutes through which awareness about HIV\/Aids is disseminated. About 50 students of the college from different streams like PGDCA, MSC (Computer Science), BCA, BSc (IT), BSc (Non Medical), Bsc \u00a0(Computer science), BSc (Biotech) participated in this event.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-89856\" src=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/PPN12032017191.jpg\" alt=\"PPN1203201719\" width=\"900\" height=\"328\" srcset=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/PPN12032017191.jpg 900w, https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/PPN12032017191-300x109.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event was organized by Prof Harsimran Singh Anand, Nodal officer Red Ribbon club, Prof Kapil Goel, Prof Renu Sharma and student members of the club. Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar appreciated the efforts of the coordinators for organizing such events. As such events are quite helpful in educating youth about preventive measures of the HIV\/AIDS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0While speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that Aids has become the most serious worldwide epidemic. He also explained about overall scenario of this dreaded disease worldwide and cautioned the students regarding fast spread of this disease.
