and Regional Director Punjab Zone A, Performance Enhancement-cum-Orientation\u00a0 Programme for teachers teaching Std XI , XII, VI to \u00a0VIII, Nursery\u00a0 to Std – II was hosted at DAV Public School Lawrence Road. The workshops were held under the blessings of \u00a0Padma Shri Dr. Punam Suri and Regional Director Punjab Zone A Dr. (Mrs) Neelam Kamra. The inaugural session started with lamp lighting and DAV Gaan. All the Resource Person was welcomed with Flowers.<\/p>\n
As many as 250 teachers from 7 schools of Punjab Zone A participated\u00a0 in the workshops which were held for English, Science, Fine Arts, Accountancy, Business\u00a0 Studies , Maths, Music and Early Childhood Education. Dr. Neera Sharma welcomed them on behalf of the DAV Management and Regional Director Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and congratulated them for the wonderful Std XII Result. She motivated them to update themselves with the latest technology and trends in education. She added that workshops and seminars groom and develop skills of training and learning amongst teachers which in turn enhances the performance of the students .She also acknowledged the hard work put in by the teachers and expressed her pleasure at the enthusiasm shown by them.<\/p>\n
She also encouraged them to interact and learn from each other on this common platform and groom themselves as better educators. The workshops were skilfully planned and aimed at enhancing the teaching learning process through hands on activity latest multimedia support and interactive discussion.<\/p>\n
The main objective was to make teaching learning process more interesting in the classroom so as to grab the attention of the students and encourage out of box thinking, motivating them for practical work.\u00a0 Overall the workshops were an enriching learning experience that facilitated the learning of new methodologies.
