{"id":98098,"date":"2017-06-08T10:12:25","date_gmt":"2017-06-08T10:12:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/?p=98098"},"modified":"2017-06-08T10:17:21","modified_gmt":"2017-06-08T10:17:21","slug":"cabinet-approves-development-four-laning-end-pandoh-bypass-takoli-himachal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/98098","title":{"rendered":"Cabinet approves development of four laning from end of Pandoh bypass to Takoli in Himachal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">New Delhi, June 7 (Punjab Post Bureau) &#8211; The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by the Prime Minister Shri <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-71951\" src=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Highway.jpg\" alt=\"Highway\" width=\"731\" height=\"277\" srcset=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Highway.jpg 731w, https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Highway-300x114.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 731px) 100vw, 731px\" \/>Narendra Modi, has given its approval for development of four laning from &#8216;end of Pandoh Bypass to Takoli&#8217; section of National Highway (NH)-21 in Himachal Pradesh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The cost is estimated to be Rs.2775.93 crore including cost of land acquisition, resettlement and rehabilitation and other pre-construction activities. The total length of the road to be developed is approximately 19 kms. This work will be done under National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase IV B on Hybrid Annuity Mode.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project will help in expediting the improvement of infrastructure in Himachal Pradesh and in reducing the time and cost of travel for traffic, particularly heavy traffic, plying between \u2018end of Pandoh Bypass to Takoli&#8217; section. The development of this stretch will also help in uplifting the socio-economic condition of this region in the State. It would also increase employment potential for local labourers for project activities. It has been estimated that a total number of 4,076 mandays are required for construction of one kilometre of highway.
