Yogasanas (postures) and \u2018pranayam\u2019 were practiced in symphony as per the Common Yoga Protocol laid down by the Ministry of AYUSH.\u00a0 As many as 2094 Army personnel participated in the event with huge fervour &amp; gusto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-99037\" src=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/PPN2106201703.jpg\" alt=\"PPN2106201703\" width=\"900\" height=\"323\" srcset=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/PPN2106201703.jpg 900w, https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/PPN2106201703-300x108.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/>The objective of the Yoga session organized by Vajra Corps was to provide an insight into the traditional basis of Yoga and its relevance in the present day context of high stress and demanding military service. The participants comprised officers, JCOs and jawans from the Jalandhar Cantonment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Yoga emphasizes flexibility, enhancing the mental agility, physical stamina and steadfastness of soldiers. Yoga, therefore, fits perfectly with the military\u2019s emphasis on mental robustness and physical agility, to hone the overall personality of Army soldiers.
