DAV Public School Warmly welcomes the New Principal

Amritsar, October 11 (Punjab Post Bureau) – With the blessings of Padma Shree Awardee Dr. Punam Suri President DAV CMC New Delhi and Chairman (LMC) DAV Public School Lawrence Road and Dr. J.P  Shoor Director PS –I and Aided Schools DAV CMC New Delhi, DAV Public School Lawrence Road  is pleased to announce that Mrs. Anita Mehra has joined as the new Principal of the school w.e.f 06.10.2020.

                   Her educational career spans over 31 years with 27 years dedicated to DAV.  Before joining as the Principal at DAV Public School in 2020, she has worked as a teacher in Police DAV Public School from 1993-2000 and from 2001-2014 in DAV Public School Amritsar. In 2014 she was promoted as Principal at DRB DAV Centenary Public School. Her zeal, dedication, active participation and interest in all the facets of school life exhibit her passion for her work.

                  In a warm get-together held at the school Mrs. Simmi Kalia the Teacher Incharge handed over the baton to Mrs. Anita Mehra in the presence of the Regional Officer Punjab Zone –A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra, the Manager of the school, Dr. Pushpinder Walia Principal BBK DAV College for Women Amritsar, Ex-Principal Dr. Neera Sharma, Dr. Neeru Chadha Manager DRB DAV Cenetary Public School, Batala and Principal RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala, Principal Dr. Anita Menon, Principal Dr. Anjana Gupta, Principal Mr. Paramjit Kumar, Principal Mr. Ajay Beri, Principal Dr. Vipin Jishtu and all other Principals of various DAV institutions of Amritsar. On this occasion Gayatri Mantra was chanted to invoke the blessings of God for a new beginning. Everyone present congratulated her and gave their best wishes to her.  Expressing her gratitude to almighty, Mrs. Anita Mehra stated that she was honoured to serve DAV Public School, Amritsar as Principal and pledged to build upon the foundations of excellence laid before her to provide the best comprehensive experience and aim for the best.
