Kapurthala Police arrests drug peddlers, 10 Kg poppy husk recovered

Kapurthala, January 15 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Continuing its drive against narcotics smuggling, Kapurthalal Police on 13-01-2021 arrested  two drug peddlers identified as Mukhtiar Singh  R/O Kammewal  PS Fattudhinga district Kapurthala and Sona singh R/O Shivdyalwala PS Talwandi chaudhrian District Kapurthala.

                On a secret information SHO Fattudhinga Kapurthala Mr. Amandeep Nahar nabbed drug smugglers and recovered 10 Kg Poppy Husk from their possession.  An FIR No 9 dated 13-1-2021 u/s 15(b)-61-85 Ndps Act PS Fattudhinga distt. Kapurthala has been registered against the accused. Further investigation is on to trace linkages.
