Online technical talk on Effective Usage of IEEE Xplore Digital Library Platform organized at GNDU

Amritsar, March 24 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Department of Electronics Technology of the Guru Nanak Dev University organized an online technical talk on Effective Usage of IEEE Xplore Digital Library Platform. A large number of students and faculty participated online.

                Dr. (Prof.) Shalini Bahel Head of Department welcomed and introduced the speaker Mr. Ritesh Kumar, Senior Training Manager, IEEE Client Services and EBSCO Information Services in the Northern Indian region. Detailing more about the speaker Dr. Behl said that Mr. Ritesh has worked in the companies like Springer, ACM and Turnitin in various capacities.

                Mr. Ritesh while delivering his lecture briefed different initiatives taken by IEEE during COVID-19. He mainly focused on to learn different time saving features and functionalities of IEEE platform which can help budding researchers who are doing research in various domains. After attending this session, students can improve their research skills and can make the most of their IEEE subscription. The lecture was followed by question answer session. The webinar was concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Hardeep Kaur who thanked distinguished speaker and lauded the efforts of ESF team who helped in making this event successful.
