A Webinar on the topic ‘Legacy of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji’ organized

Amritsar, May 22 (Punjab Post Bureau) – S.R Govt. College for Women organised a webinar to commemorate the celebrations of 400th Birth anniversary of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadar ji under the guidance of Principal Ms. Jyoti Bala and College council Dr. Kusum, Ms. Parminder Kaur and Dr. Surinder Kaur on May 21.

                   In his lecture on the topic ‘Legacy of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji’ resource person Dr. Rakesh Bawa, (Department of History, Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Daroli Kalan) talked about the values taught by Guru ji. A perfect blend of mysticism and worldliness, an epitome of sacrifice and renunciation, Guru ji taught us life principles which can be our anchor in this trouble tossed world.This webinar was organised in continuation with the series of activities being organised by the college since June last year to honor the memory of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadar ji, ninth Guru of the Sikhs.

                   The events was organised by the Coordinators Dr. Vandana Bajaj and Manjeet Kaur Minhas. Technical team of the college comprising Mr. Shivam and Dr. Harpreet worked in collaboration with the coordinators for the execution of the event.
