Deputy Commissioner orders inquiry into distribution of Atta Dal in Sultanpur Lodhi

SDM Sultanpur Lodhi to submit report within a week

 Kapurthala, June 11 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Deepti Uppal has directed the SDM Sultanpur Lodhi to inspect the Atta Dal distribution under the National Food Security act in the villages falling under Sultanpur Lodhi sub division.

            She has directed SDM Sultanpur Lodhi to immediately inquire into the complaints received from village Kamalpur and some other places regarding irregularities in the distribution of Atta Dal in Sultanpur lodhi area.

            As per the orders issued, SDM has been directed to be conduct enquiry in person in the villages of Sultanpur Lodhi constituency and the investigation report has been asked to be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala within 7 days.

            She said that the distribution of Atta Dal was a public welfare scheme of the Punjab government under which free ration has been supplied to the needy people of the society and no irregularities would be tolerated and exemplary action would be taken against those found guilty on receipt of the report. .
