District Advisory Committee meeting organized

Amritsar September 22 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Government of India organized a meeting of District Advisory Committee on Youth Program on 22.09.2021, District Amritsar, which was presided over by the member nominated by Hon’ble Deputy Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Khaira.

                At the beginning of the meeting, District Youth Officer Akanksha Mahaveriya told about the Nehru Yuva Kendra organization and its working process, after which the work plan for this year was discussed.

                He told that 6 focus areas have been kept for the programs run by Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar this year which are aatmnirbhar bharat, Kovid-19, Disaster Management, Fit India Mission through Youth Representation, clean village green village Campgain, Jal Jagran Campaign.

            During the meeting, she discussed the various programs of Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar and the activities carried out in the year so far, as well as sought help from various departments for the programs to be done in this year.

           Rohil Kumar Katta, Accounts and Program Assistant of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Amritsar, National Youth Volunteer Amanpreet Kaur, Savar Singh, Gurpal Singh, Robinjit Singh and Shamsher Singh from Youth Club were also present in the meeting.
