‘Yuva Unstoppable’ providing facilities to students of government schools
Amritsar, April 15 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) officials honoured the representatives of Gujarat based NGO ‘Yuva Unstoppable’ as they visited to pay obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib. Amitabh Shah, a representative of Yuva Unstoppable was honoured with Siropao (robe of honour) by SGPC’s additional secretary Partap Singh OSD to SGPC President Satbir Singh, manager of Sri Darbar Sahib Sulakhan Singh and assistant secretary Kulwinder Singh Ramdas.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Amitabh Shah said he came to Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib to take blessings from the Guru to offer services in the society. He said the founder of this NGO is Jashandeep Singh, who is serving in the navy as Lieutenant Commander.
About the work of NGO Mr. Amitabh said that presently their organisation is providing different facilities to the students of government schools in 18 stateThe facilities include constructing toilets as per requirement, arrangement of drinking water, washing hands and washing dishes used for eating food, etc. He added that their NGO has also taken an initiative to provide smart classrooms to the studentHe added that so far they have provided these facilities to over 3,000 schools spread across 18 states including Punjab state.
OSD Satbir Singh appreciated the work being done by NGO ‘Yuva Unstoppable’. Those present on this occasion included in-charge Shahbaz Singh, information officer Amritpal Singh, NGO representatives Mrs. Rashmi, Bibi Inderjeet Kaur, Bibi Kuldeep Kaur, Mrs. Sunita and others.
