Three held with 34 gm of heroin and recovered 80000 drug money in two different cases

One arrested under Excise Act and siezed 6750 ml of illicit liquor

Amritsar August 19 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Punjab Police on Thursday arrested two men along with 30 gm of heroin and Rs. 80000/- drug money from Nijjarpura Jandiala.Those arrested are identified as Ranjit Singh S/o Dalbir Singh and Lovejit Singh S/o Dalbir Singh both resident of Nijjarpura and a case under NDPS Act has been registered against them at police station Jandiala.

             In a separate case, Punjab police in the past day apprehended One along with 4 gm of heroin from the Thariyewal Majitha. Accused identified as Bachu s/o Gama  resident of Bhangali Kalan, Majitha and a case under NDPS Act against him has been registered at police station Majitha.

                 In another case, Police on thursday arrested Gurpreet Singh s/o Charan Singh, a resident of Baba Jivan Singh Nagar, Khilchian and seized 6750 ml of illicit liquor from his possession and resgistered a case under Excise Act against him at police station Khilchian.

                Police official said that the cases under the provision of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotrpic Substances Act (NDPS) Act and Excise Act have been registerd against them as summarized above, in the different Police Stations and further investigation is underway.
