Army College of Nursing Juggernaut unstoppable

Jalandhar, Oct. 31 (Punjab Post Bureau) – VII Trained Nurses Association of India Biennial Punjab State Conference was held at Sardar Kartar Singh Sarabha College of Nursing, Ludhiana. 14 students and two faculty members of ACN participated in various sports & co-curricular competitions held between 40 Nursing College of Punjab . Army College of Nursing, Jalandhar Cantt won maximum prizes amongst colleges of Jalandhar district winning “Second Prize” in “On the Spot Painting” competition, “Third Prizes” in “Poster Making Competition” & “Debate Competition.  The college also won“Second Prize” for “Student Nurses Association Diary” among all the Nursing Colleges affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot for the sixth consecutive year.

            ACN did exceedingly well this year, when the college won “Overall Championship Trophy” in the Sports & Cultural Events (Beat-2017) organized by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot in Apr 2017. The college also won 3 out of 4 rolling Trophies in Army Welfare Education Society Youth Festival held for 5 Army Professional Colleges under Western Command in Nov 2016. The students of the college are now looking forward to the AWES Youth Festival-2017 which is scheduled to be held at Army Institute of Management & Technology, Noida from 01 Nov  to  03 Nov 2017.The Chairman, Director, Principal  & Registrar of ACN congratulated all the prize winners of these and extended good wishes for the Unstoppable ACN Juggernaut in the forthcoming events.
