Students of DAV Public School Clinch Top Positions in Youth Flair Fest

Amritsar, Nov. 27 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road clinched top positions in the  “Youth Flair Fest’ held recently at DAV University  Jalandhar. As many as 20 students of Std. XII participated in various competitions organised at the fest. It was a proud moment for the school as the school bagged First position in five categories and second and Third position in two other categories respectively after giving a tough competition to 700 participants from 25 schools across the three states of  Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.  The following students made the school proud; Suryansh, Manan and Nayonica bagged first position and a trophy in Biology Quiz, Snehashish and Kuvam bagged first position and a trophy in Tech Quiz, Hardik Aggarwal  and  Harshwardhan won first position and  a trophy in Physics Poster Making, Nivera bagged first position in Slogan Writing Competition and Vrinda bagged first position in Painting Competition. In Biology Model Making, Ribhav and Rishika bagged second position, Twinkle Sarangi won second position in Cartooning and Shashank won third position in Group Discussion.

                       Regional Director Punjab Zone–A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College Amritsar applauded the students and the teachers for  their brilliant performance . They advised them to explore new avenues and tap their potential at an early stage for  a  bright future. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school, while congratulating the students said that it  was a great opportunity for them to expand their horizons. She encouraged them to put in their best an try to gain maximum out of the opportunities available to them.
