Commendable Performance by DAV Public Student

Amritsar, Dec. 15 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Nitin Chauhan (Std VII) a student of DAV Public School Lawrence Road perfomed remarkably well  in two different events. In Punjab School District Athletics Championship held at Khalsa Senior Secondary School Amritsar he earned Gold Medal in 200 mt race and 100 mt race respectively.In Punjab State Athletics Championship held at Sangrur , Nitin bagged  a Silver Medal in 100 mt race and another Silver Medal in 4 x 100 Relay Race. Regional Director , Punjab Zone –A Dr. Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated  the student for his brilliant performance. Dr. Neera Sharma P ncipal of the school blessed the student and added that she was happy to see that the students are maintaining a balance between sports and academics.
