On the Spot Painting Competition organized at Kt:Kala Kendra

Amritsar, Oct. 6 (Punjab Post Bureau) – KT:Kalã Kendra organized an ON the Spot Painting Competition of school children. More than 180 students of 16 schools of Amritsar Participated in this competition. Veteran Actor Surinder Farishta, (Ghulle Shah) was Chief Guest and he along with Dr. Baldev Gambhir, Rajesh Raina and other dignitaries distributed the prizes to the winners.

            Tthere were five categories of different classes from pre nursery to plus two. First, Second, Third and five consolation prizes were given in each category i.e. total 40 cash awards were given. Mr. Aman Gill, Ms. Rashim Gupta and Brajesh Jolly acted as jury members and decided the winners.

            A heart touching short film “The Real Cost” directed by Harinder Sohal and acted by Sudrinder Farishta was also screened. The Children, teachers and all other dignitaries liked the film very much. Rajesh Raina Secretary paid vote of his thanks to the teachers who brought their students at KT Kala for participation. 

            The present on the occasion includes Dahrminder Sharma, Gulshan Sadana, Anil Dutta, G.Y.Giri, Mr. Narappa (from Hyderabad), Harpreet Narang, Harinder Sohal. Cash prizes, Colour boxes as gifts, certificates and refreshment were also given to participant.
