Air Force Station Rajasansi Conducts Centenary Marathon

Amritsar, May 5 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Air Force Station, Rajasansi organised a Half Marathon to mark the Centenary Celebration of the Late Marshal of Indian Air Force Arjan Singh, Distinguished Flying Cross.  Air Force Station, Rajasansi conducted the event here with enthusiasm, sportsman spirit and camaraderie to pay tribute to the Late Marshal of IAF.

Gp Capt Shirish Dhakate, Station Commander, Air Force Station, Rajasansi, flagged off the 21 Kms Marathon at 0500 h.  A total of 200  air warriors of various age group participated in the event and 80 air warriors completed the run successfully. The aim of the event was to propagate the accomplishments and values of the legendary Marshal of IAF among the air warriors of Air Force Station, Rajasansi and inculcate camaraderie and sportsmanship among the participants.
