DAV student Shined in the Result of BA (JMC)-Sem VI

Amritsar, July 29 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Shivani Thakur, a Student of BA (JMC) SEM -VI, DAV College Amritsar bagged First position in the university examinations held in May 2019. In the recent results declared by the University for Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication, she made the college proud by securing 2092/ 2700 marks in university.  Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated her along with her proud parents. He added that the College is proud of her achievements and motivated her to keep it up. Prof. Arif Nazir, Head department of Mass Communication and Video Production appreciated her dedication and wished her luck for her brighter future.  He also added that she has started her own event management company “ Sukoon” for nomadic artists who are trying to find a permanent address for their talent where they can find people similarly strange just like them. She has hosted 6 events till now in Amritsar and in  Delhi with collaboration of Oxford Bookstore and the hostellers. Prof Sania Arora, Prof Vani Sharma and Prof Rajesh Talwar also extended their heartiest Congratulation to her.
