BBK DAV organized Vedic Havan to commemorate Guru Virjanandji on Death Anniversary

BBK DAV College for Women organized Vedic Havan to commemorate Dandi Swami Virjanand ji on his Death Anniversary. Havan Yajna is a regular feature of our college and it is organised from time to time to celebrate the special days, events and festivals. This Havan Yajna was organized under the directions of Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha, Punjab. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia and Sudarshan Kapoor Chairman LMC were present to pay their respect and tribute to Swami Virjanand ji.

                                 Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia said Guru Virjanand ji was a great scholar of Sanskrit language and she also highlighted that all the DAV institutions follow the values of Swami Virjanand ji. Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia appreciated the contribution of faculty and said faculty is the life force of an institution. Sudarshan Kapoor congratulated the Principal and staff for arranging this Havan Yajna in memory of Swami Virjanand ji.

                                 Mr. Vijay from the Department of Music along with his team sang a melodious bhajan. The Havan concluded with the distribution of ‘Prasad’.
