DAV Public School Student selected for free visit to NASA

Amritsar, September, 23 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Std. X Hissa of DAV Public School Lawrence road made the school proud by being the only student to be selected for a free visit to NASA as the Title Prize for receiving Rank 1 in the International Space Olympiad conducted by Edumithra in the senior category. In the challenging three round examinations, Hissa proved her mettle by securing the highest marks. Along with Hissa, Manya Mahajan, Tanvi Aggarwal and Aryaa Khosla have also been selected for certificates of Excellence and they are among the first fifteen students who competed for this prestigious competition. Hissa thanked her teachers and the principal of the school for guiding her and encouraging her to explore new avenues.

            Regional Officer Punjab Zone – A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school Dr. (Mrs.) Pushpinder Walia congratulated the students for the brilliant efforts and blessed them for their future endeavours. They added that it was a unique opportunity for the students and advised them to make the most out of it.

             The teacher-in-charge of the school Mrs. Simmi Kalia  also applauded and appreciated the students  for their diligence and dedication.
