Big relief for army personnel to reach home during holidays – Colonel Warich

Amritsar, November 29 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The families of Armed Forces who are serving the country have expressed happiness over the restoration of passenger trains on tracks. Retired Colonel Satbir Singh Warich cherishing this decision said that this is a big relief especially for the soldiers who were facing problems to reach home for vacations.

              Colonel Warich said that all the Armed Forces personnel are disciplined and visit their families after prior approval of leaves. He said that this is a festive and wedding season and the defense personnel were facing difficulties to reach home and meet their families.

                He also said that resuming passenger trains on tracks has provided a big relief to them, even the families are also feeling relieved. Now the soldiers would be able to attend family functions and wedding ceremonies which were scheduled earlier.

       In the end Colonel Warich thanked the farmers for maintaining peace and allowing passenger trains to operate on tracks.
