Willfull defaulters to deal with iron hands to ensure recovery in pendency
Kapurthala, December 17 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Deputy Commissioner kapurthala Deepti Uppal has asked the
revenue officials to dispose of the pending revenue cases in a time bound manner besides 2 years old cases to be decided as early as possible.
She said that under Revenue court Management system, ADCs, SDMs, District Revenue officer and Tehsildars to dispose of the pending revenue cases which are 2 and more years old as the revenue courts are fully functional after long break due to covid.
She also asked the officials to have meetings with Bar association to start the court cases in full capacity to dispose of the pending cases especially the Nambardari cases.
Deputy Commissioner has also asked the revenue officials to speep up the process of recovery to avoid any kind of revenue loss in the state finance. She said that the pending recovery in all cases must be disposed off in 20 days besides dealing the willful defaulters with iron hands to ensure zero pendency in recovery cases.
Taking the serious note of pendency of Demarcation and mutation cases pending since last two to three years, Deputy Commissioner has made it clear that these kinds of cases must be redressed in a month.
Prominent amongst present in the meeting included ADC (G) Rahul Chabha, ADC Phagwara Rajiv verma, SDM Kapurthala Varinderpal Singh Bajwa, SDM sultanpur Dr. Charumita, SDM Bholath T Benith, SDM Phagwara Pavitar singh, DRO Paramjit Singh Sahota and tehsildars and Naib tehsildars from the district.
