Applicants to apply online at RCMS portal
Amritsar, December 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) – In a major step to provide the revenue related services in an easy way,
the district Amritsar has started the online services of demarcation of land and Non encumbrance certificate .
Terming it a giant leap towards the efficiency and effectiveness in the most complex revenue system , the Deputy commissioner Gurpreet Singh Khaira said that these services has been provided via RCMS portal (rcms punjab.gov.in).
He said that necessary updation of RCMS portal has been done and a link to of this has also been provided through main portal.
Talking about the process to avail these services , he said that the applicant would have to submit his/her application for demarcation online through this portal and in case the applicant cannot submit the application online, then applicant can either go to the Fard Kendra, Sewa Kendra or directly to the office of Circle Revenue Officer (CRO) and submit application.
Khaira also said that MIS has been created to track the process of the applications and their disposal and access will be available to public and the controlling officers. He said that the training has already been imparted to the District System Managers/ Assistant System Managers, Tehsildars/Naib Tehsildars, Readers and Kanugo.
He also made it clear that all applications regarding these revenue services would be processed only via RCMS portal.
