Rich Tribute Paid to Swami Shraddhanand ji

Amritsar, December 24 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  A Havan was organised at DAV Public School Lawrence Road  followed by a floral tribute to commemorate the Death Anniversary of Swami Shraddhanand ji and to pay tribute to this great son of India.

            Swami Shraddhanand ji a staunch believer in the values of Arya Samaj played a pivotal role in propogating the teachings of Dayanand Saraswati ji. He also played a key role in the establishement of Gurukul Kangri University. On the fateful day of December 23, 1926 he laid down his life in the services of his nation.

            Regional Officer Punjab Zone – A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school Dr. Pushpinder Walia Principal BBK DAV College for Women sent their wishes and motivated everyone to learn from the illustrious life of this glorious son of India.

              Mrs. Anita Mehra Principal of the school while paying a floral tribute stressed on inculcating the spirit of harmony and expelling hatred by treading the path shown by this noble soul.
