13 Students of DAV Public School Clear JEE ( Mains)

Amritsar, Apr. 29  (Punjab Post Bureau) –  DAV Public School, Lawrence Road adds another feather in its cap as 13 students of the school cleared JEE (Mains) . Creating new benchmarks, Saket Dingliwal and Ashish Sharma brought laurels to the school by being the City Topper and Third in the city respectively. Saket scored 298 marks and Ashish scored 236 marks out of 360. The other students who have cleared the exam are – Kartik Gupta, Kartik Anand, Sargun Nagpal, Saksham Sondhi, Deepanker Kumar, Nitigya Chug, Raghuvar Arora, Manhar Chopra, Abhinav Aggarwal , Akarshan Vaid and Avish Khosla. The students expressed their gratitude to the Principal and the teachers for their continuous support and guidance from time to time. Saket Dingliwal, the city topper said, “ This is just the first step. I am really thankful to the motivation and encouragement from my Principal and teachers who had faith in my abilities”. These students are now preparing for the JEE (Advance) which will be held on 24^th May, 2015. Arya Ratan Sh.Punam Suri President DAV CMC, New Delhi expressed his happiness at the  splendid performance of the students. He sent his joyous felicitations and blessed the students to aim high and bring laurels for the country.

Regional Director (Amritsar Zone) Dr .(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Principal BBK DAV College for Women and the Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College applauded the efforts of the students and the school for preparing them extensively and thoroughly for the prestigious competitive examinations. They blessed the students for JEE (Advance)  and hoped for best results. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school congratulated the students and teachers for putting in their best. She said that diligent efforts always pay. She advised the students to continue with the hard work to fulfil their dream.
