DBT sponsored guest lecture organized on “Mysteries in Scientific World”

Amritsar, Aug. 25 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  A DBT sponsored guest lecture was organized by Department of Physics, BBK DAV College for Women. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Bindiya Arora, Assistant Professor in Physics, GNDU on the topic “Mysteries in Scientific World”. On this occasion Dr. Bindiya was welcomed by the college Vice Principal Mrs. Manbir Kaushal. Dr. Bindiya Arora discussed about perplexing unsolved problems in our understanding of universe. She said that we all know a lot about the universe but there is much more that we don’t know. Dr. Arora requested the students to experience the inexplicable universe and unsolved mysteries through various videos and audio lectures through internet. The lecture was self-contained that transported an audience on a marvelous journey to the frontiers of known and unknown universe; and introduced everyone to tantalizing questions being addressed by world’s top scientists. Engaging and fascinating, the lecture was an eye–opener to the wonderful scientific mysteries that lie at the very heart of the history and nature of our universe. Dr. Shaweta Mohan, Head, Deptt. of Physics extended a vote of thanks to chief guest for sparing her valuable time. Dr. Monika Bhardwaj, Head, Deptt. of Zoology and other faculty members were also present.
