Dr. Poonam Khullar Asst. Professor in Chemistry got Research project under DST-Nano Misson

Amritsar, Sept. 1 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Department of Science and Technology (DST) New Delhi has recommended a Major Research project to Dr. Poonam Khullar, Assistant Professor in Chemistry, BBK DAV College for Women under its scheme DST-Nano Misson. The total grant for this project is Rs. 50 Lakhs. She had already completed three Major Research projects from CSIR, UGC & DST-Fast track scheme. The total amount funded is Rupees Sixty Four Lakhs for these projects. With the help of college authorities she established Nanotechnology Research Lab in the Dept. of Chemistry. This lab is equipped with various advanced equipment like double beam UV Spectrophotometer, Spectrofluorometer etc. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra congratulated Dr. Poonam Khullar for their achievement & wished her to touch new heights in future.
