Ckd Institute of Management & Technology organized international multi-stream conference

Tarn Taran, Nov. 8 (Punjab Post Bureau) – CKD Institute of Management & Technology, Taran Tarn  running under Chuef Khalsa  Diwan Charitable Society organized international multi-stream conference on “Technology and life” . This memorable conference was inaugurated by Chief Guest S. Dhanraj Singh (Vice Presidentof Chief Khalsa Diwan) .More than 200 authors and co-authors from abroad and across India representing various universities, colleges and industrial organizations contributed their research works in IMSC–2015 which included experienced and upcoming academicians, industry professionals, research scholars and students who had many fruitful discussions and exchanges that contributed to the success of the conference which was conducted with the co-operation of by IKG Punjab Technical University.. In all, one hundred fifty papers were presented at the conference on the wide ranging themes like Management, Commerce, Computer Applications, Engineering, Arts, Languages, Sciences & Technical Innovation. Eminent educationists like Santokh Singh Sethi, Dr Tejwant Singh, Dr Manish Bansal were part of the panel.

While addressing the delegates and students,  Principal Dr. Harpreet Singh  told that the main objective of organizing “International Multi-stream Conference on Technology and life” i.e. IMSC – 2015 at CKD Institute of Management & Technology, Tarn Taran, Punjab was to create a common platform for experienced and young researchers including research scholars and students so as to deliberate upon changes in life due to advent of new technologies and also developing new uses of existing technologies.

Panel discussion of the conference  involved discussion among S. Harminder Singh, S. Santokh Singh Sethi, Dr. Manish Bansal, Dr. Tejwant Singh, Dr. Kulbushan and other scholars   on the subject  “uses and abuses of Technology” On the occasion, two books as proceedings of the conference comprising research papers were also released. The subject matter specially covered in proceedings of IMSC – 2015 includes theoretical contributions as well as specific applications in contributing to the developments of methods, techniques and scientific and social innovations in all the above discussed streams. The proceedings included concepts, evaluations, analyses, critical issues, predictions, relationships and interconnections of uses of technologies in life.

There were seven technical sessions covering various research streams wherein more than 150 papers were presented and discussed. The various subjects of discussion included e-commerce, e-mail marketing, e-banking, Technological Innovations in Commerce and MSMEs, ICT for Teaching and Learning, Nanotechnology etc.
