DAV Public Third in District Judo Championship

Amritsar, Nov. 30 (Punjab Post Bureau)- The Judo team of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar was Third in Amritsar  District Judo Championship held recently. The championship was organised by Amritsar School Games Association. As many as 15 teams from different schools of Amritsar district participated in the championship. Kabir Sharma of Std  IX bagged Gold Medal, Shreya Salwan of Std VIII bagged Silver Medal, Abhishek Mahajan and Jatin Thakur of Std X bagged Silver Medal each and Shivam of Std IX won Bronze Medal in different categories  in the  championship. Regional Director Amritsar Zone , Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Principal BBK DAV College for Women, Lawrence Road and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar , Principal DAV College , Hathi Gate congratulated the students and asked them to do their best in the future championships. Dr. Neera Sharma , Principal of the school applauded the performance of the students and asked them to keep on practicing for better results in future competitions.
