DAV Public School Pays homage to Madan Lal Dhingra

Amritsar, Aug. 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  DAV Public School Lawrence Road observed the martyrdom day of an Indian Revolutionary Independence Activitist, Madan Lal Dhingra. He was considered as a Lion Hearted National Hero. He hailed from Amritsar and died at a very young age of 26.

            The students of the school paid tribute to this great martyr who played a very important role in our freedom struggle. The students narrated the incidents from his life. They recited poems and sang patriotic songs remembering this great soul. They took a pledge that they will also move forward along correct path to change and transform the society and nation.

 Regional Director Punjab Zone A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and Dr. Rajesh Kumar  Manager of the school appreciated the efforts of the students for observing such important days  and remembering the martyr who sacrificed  his life  for the  cause of his motherland. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school also paid a tribute to Madan Lal Dhingra and advised the students to review their aims, their role towards improving the conditions of their country and should try to leave behind an indelible impression on humanity.
