District Legal Services Authority conducts Training program of Women Protection

Amritsar, Aug. 24 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Under the able guidance of Sh. Gurbir Singh, Learned District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority and under the supervision of Ms. Girish Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Amritsar, a training programme regarding Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act conducted in the Training Hall of Alternative Disputes Resolution Centre, District Courts Complex, Amritsar. Ms. Parvinder Kaur, ACP, Amritsar was also present in this programme. Police Officials/Incharge of different police stations of the Amritsar, CDPOs also attended. Various points of Domestic Violence Act discussed by Learned District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Amritsar and awareness spread regarding Domestic Violence Act amongst the persons present there. Smt. Girish Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Amritsar was also delivered a details lecture on Domestic Violence. The problems also heard by the trainers/officers faced by the Police officials and they got awared about the solutions.
