BBK DAV College Felicitates Softball Players

Amritsar, Aug. 26 (Punjab Post Bureau) – BBK DAV College for Women welcomed two Softball Players of the college Ms. Harpreet Kaur and Ms. Gagandeep Kaur who participated in 15^th World Women Softball Championship held at Surrey, BC, Canada from 15^th to 24^th July 2016. India participated in this World Championship where our players showed their excellent performance. Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the players and said that it is a proud moment for the college as our players have represented India at an international platform. She added that college has always provided adequate facilities to the players. She further informed that college awarded the players with a cash prize of Rs. 15000/-, a trophy and equipment. Ms. Sweety Bala, Head, Department of Physical Education, along with other faculty members and coaches, congratulated the players.
