State Level Heritage Quiz Organized

Amritsar, October 3 (Punjab Post Bureau)- To sensitize  the students regarding our heritage , Indian National trust for Art & Cultiral Heritage Organized State Level Intach Heritage Quiz for students of senior classes.  The programme was commenced with school shabhad. There were total four teams i.e. Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, G.T. Road, Amritsar, DAV Sr. Sec. School, Kotakpura, Budha Dal Public School, Patiala, DAV Sr. Sec. School, Bathinda respectively. All the teams participated ardently and S. Sukhdev Singh Convenor INTACH eulogized all the participants and  highlighted the importance of historical & Cultural heritage especially of Punjab and the need of preserve it. The judgement was announced by Headmistress Mrs.kawalpreet Kaur and applauded the efforts of students and teachers. The first position was bagged by DAV Public School, Kotakpura and second and third prize  were secured by Budha Dal Public School,Patiala and Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, G.T. Road, Amritsar. Director / Principal Dr. DharamVeer Singh highlighted the importance of knowledgable quiz which is ardent for the challenging world. S. Harminder Singh, member incharge Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, G.T. Road, Amritsar said that such quiz inculcate motivational spirit among the students regarding our heritage. S. Harminder Singh Member Incharge of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School,G.T. Road, Amritsar was the Chief Guest. Director / Principal Dr. Dharam Veer Singh presided over the function. Vote of thanks was given by Headmistress, Mrs. Kawalpreet Kaur. S. Sukhdev Singh, Punjab State Convenor Intach, Engineer S. Sawinder Singh,Dr. G.S. Bajwa Asstt. Prof. GNDU, Mrs. Davinder Kaur quiz master & S. Navpreet Singh Sahni, Member Incharge, Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, G.T. Road, Amritsar were present in the programme.
