Lecturers Demands to Speed up the Promotion Process

Amritsar, October 14 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Eligible lecturers has demanded to Speed up the Promotion Process from the Punjab government. Lecturers have also pleaded that Promotion Quota of vocational masters to Principal cadre should not exceed 15% under any condition. The others main issues regarding 15 days medical leave letter should be withdrawn and A.C.P should be implemented immediately, D.A from January 2016 should be released, they also demanded the implementation of 6th pay commission from 1.1.2016.

Mr. Vijay Garg said that eligible promotion cases from lecturers to Principal demanded by School Education Department till 20 August 2016 has been scrutinized by the Department, but the Departmental Promotion committee has not given its final approval. The Election of the State Assembly is approaching shortly, thus the code of conduct will be imposed. This will delay promotion process for an indefinite period. The others present includes Naib Singh, Vijay Garg, SshivR , Manhor Lal, Parmjit Kaur, Simi Nagpal, Krishan Kumar, Dr. Hari Bhajan etc.
