Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Training Programme

Amritsar, January 30 (Punjab Post Bureau)- A General one week Skill-Development and Entrepreneurship Training Programme was organized by Punjab National Bank, Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (PNB RSETI) at Model Career Center, Placement Department GNDU, Amritsar from 23^rd January to 29^th January, 2017 under National Career Service program. The program was conducted by PNB RSETI Mallian office, Amritsar. RSETIs (Rural Self Employment Training Institutes) are working under the aegis of Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) Govt. of India to ensure necessary skill training and skill up gradation of the youth to mitigate the unemployment problem. The students were trained by this unique and intensive training program. Topics like Advantages of Self Employment, Importance of Positive Attitude, Entrepreneurial Competencies, Market Survey purpose & Methodology and Marketing Management were covered under this program. Information related to Govt. sponsored schemes for entrepreneurship was also provided to the participants. On completion of the training programme, trainees were distributed the certificates as per the guidelines of Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) Govt. of India. This certificate will help the students for getting loan from banks for any entrepreneurship activity. Further, the loan applications of the interested youths and regular followup will be taken by the RSETI Team.
