DAV Students Outshined in the University Examinations

Amritsar,  June 27 (Punab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV College Amritsar bagged various merit positions in the university examinations held in May 2017. In the recent results declared by the Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar for  BCA – Ist and II Sem , Deepak Kumar Giri  secured 627/800 marks and bagged 2^nd position in university and 2^nd  position in district, Mehak Khemka  secured 619/800 marks and bagged 5^th position in university and  3^rd position in district, Partiksha Singh  secured 612/800 marks and bagged 8^th position in university and 4^th position in district,  Japneet Singh secured 602/800 marks and bagged 10^th  position in university and 5^th  position in district.

             Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar congratulated merit holders along with their proud parents. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that the college is proud of achievements of the students and motivated them to keep it up. He also applauded the efforts of PG Department of Computer Science and Information Technology and congratulated Dr Amardeep Gupta, Head of the Department and other faculty members of the Department. On this occasion, Associate Prof Vivek Aggarwal also extended his heartiest congratulation to the students.
