Workshop on English E-Learning Assessment Tool held at SGHPS GT Road

Ammritsar, June 29 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  A workshop on ‘English e-learning  Assessment module by ‘Skills Anytime’ a U.K based company was organized at Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, G.T. Road. The focus of the seminar was to enhance the functional skills of the students in English Language. The trainers of the programme Ms. Ritesh Vashisht Assistant General Manager, Education & Training Ms. Pooja Chauhan, Manager Businees Development introduced new approaches to the teaching of English Language.

Principals and English teachers from Sri Guru Harkrishan Public Schools run under the aegis of Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society participated in the workshop. After 20 minute PPT presentation by Ms. Ritish Vashisht, the participants moved to the computer labs for live demonstration of the four step process required in the improvement of English.

CKDCS President Chadha gracing the occasion said that such e-learning tools are very important to refresh and update the English language skills of the teachers and students alike. Principal / Director Dr. Dharam Veer Singh said that such programmes aim to offer the teachers a highly practical, engaging and rewarding learning experiences.   “Such workshops give a chance to teachers to enhance their skills in areas like teaching pronunciation and to explore in areas teaching through technonlogy”, he said.

The workshop was also attended by Inderpreet Singh Chadha Vice President and Gurpartap Singh PrincipalCKD College of Management & Technology. The teachers who attended the workshop were quite satisfied with online English e-learning module which is specially desgined to help students to improve their English language skills
