DAV College to organize one-day Inter-Department Media Festival on August 26

Amritsar, Aug. 14 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Department of Mass Communication and Video Production, DAV College is organizing a one-day Inter-department Media Festival on August 26.  Students from Different departments will be participating in the Event. The department of MCVP from many years has been playing major role in developing intellectual skills among the students apart from promoting culture in their minds. The department is earnestly involved in providing quality media education to the aspirants and focuses on imparting education through films and other AV mediums. The main motive of the festival would be to raise the awareness level of youth about culture and the social issues of Punjab. Prof. Arif Nazir, Head, Department of Mass Communication and Video Production said that this festival is an opportunity for the students to explore their hidden talent and carve out them for the future. He added that nearly 170 students from various departments will be participating in the festival. The participants will get a platform for visualizing their latent qualities and succeed in life.

The department of MCVP has been a pioneer in providing high media education. Students will participate in the host of events which will include Falsie fire, Radio Jockey, Debate, Photography, Ad Mad, Song Prediction, Interview, News Reading, Mobile Film Making and Choreography.
