Annual Day Function of Nursery classes celebrated

Amritsar, Dec. 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Annual Day of Nursery classes was celebrated in Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, G.T. Road lot of zest, elation, excitement and with true spirit of childhood. The amazing and colorful items of the show revealed as how much efforts of teachers and students had put up in making a how grand success. Chief Guest Mr. Shishupal Kaushal (DEO Primary + Principal in service training centre) expressed their delight over the stellar performace of the students. Paramjit Singh & Mrs. Renu Singh who were Theatre Artist from USA commended the performance and the efforts at the part of school management. Dr. Mrs. Amarpali, Principal, Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Khasa Bazar, Mrs. Meenakshi Mehra, Principal, Vivek Public School, Amritsar and Mrs. Shabnam Sharma Principal, DDI School, Amritsar attended the programme as Guests of Honour. Principal / Director Dr. Dharam Veer Singh felicitated the Guests and other dignitaries and read the Annual Report which highlighted the achievements of the school. The programme commenced with the school shabhad by seek blessings of almighty followed by scintillating Rhymes enacted by the tiny tots on Pumpkin Pumkin, Bus on Wheels and on Action Words. Highlight of the show was fancy dress in which the students of Nursery attired as GST, Whatsapp and Selfi Queen took away everyone’s heart and also created awareness to save ‘Girl Child’. The child who was attired as a ‘Farmer too Pleased everyone to save farmers from committing suicides. Lastly Children tapped their feet to Bhangra beats and mesmerized the audience. Harminder Singh Member Incharge School also appreciated the show and said these children are buds in a garden and should be nurtured lovingly. The show culminated by vote of thanks presented by Mrs. Kiranjot Kaur Headmistrees Pre Primary Section.
