Divine Kirtan Darbar at SGH Pub.Sen. Sec. School, G.T. Road

Amritsar, July 27 (Manjit Kaur)- Divine Kirtan Darbar was organised on the auspicious occasion of the gurpurab of the eighth Guru Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji. The school was beautifully decorated with flowers and confetti which gave a carnival like look. The pandal was attractively illuminated with electric lights. The ‘Palki Sahib’ was brought under the shower of petals and flowers. Renowned top exponents of sikh religion Sant Anoop Singh Una Wale, Padam Shri Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa Ex Hazoori Raagi Sri Harmandir Sahib, Bhai Manpreet Singh Kanpuri recited Shabad Kirtan in their melodious voices and filled the atmosphere with an aura of spirituality and mysticism. Religious hymns were also sung by Bhai Amandeep Singh, Bibi Kaulan Wale, Bibi Prabhjot Kaur G.T. Road School and Bhai Jaswinder Singh Bibi Kaulan wale. Sangat from far and wide reached to the school ground. On this auspicious occasion S. Kirpal Singh Memorial Hall was inaugurated by S. Charanjit Singh Chadha. The eminent personalities who were honoured by CKDCS for their services to the religion were Bhai Jaswinder Singh Bibi Kaulan Wale, S. Manjit Singh G.K President DSGMC, Dr. Daljit Singh, Principal (Retired) Khalsa College, Asr, Dr. Jaswinder Singh Dhillon Principal Khalsa College of Education Asr for their contribution in the field of Education .

Singh Sahib Giani Gurbachan Singh Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib Ji, and Singh Sahib Giani Jagtar Singh Head Granthi Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji also graced the occasion with their benign presence. Guru-ka-Langar was served to all. Dignitaries on the occasion were present Dr. Santokh Singh, S. Harminder Singh, S. Navpreet Singh Sahni, S. Santokh Singh Sethi, S. Pritpal Singh Sethi, S. Sarabjit Singh, S. Jaswinder Singh Advocate, S. Attar Singh, S. Anoop Singh, S. Inderpreet Singh Chadha, S. Harjit Singh, S. Charanjit Singh and S. Avtar Singh etc.
