DAV Annual function – “I CARE FOR…….” organized

Amritsar, Feb. 22 (Punjab Post Bureau) – With the blessings of Padma Shree Dr. Punam Suri President  DAV CMC New Delhi J.P.Shoor (Director PS – I & Aided Schools), Dr. Neelam Kamra R.D Punjab Zone – A Rajesh Kumar Manager and  under the guidance of the Principal Dr. Neera Sharma 430 students of Std –I of DAV Public School presented the Annual Function ‘I CARE FOR’ at Urvi Auditorium in two groups of morning and evening shows.

Mrs. Sunita Kiran DEO Amritsar city was the Chief Guest for the Morning Show and Mrs. Jewan Jyoti Philanthropist graced the Evening Show as the chief guest. Dr. Suraj Shoor was the Guest of Honour  for the Morning Show. Principal Dr. Neera Sharma welcomed the guests with the saplings – the symbol of divine energy. The function started with divine OM Mantra–the real essence of life. The Children beautifully portrayed the power of love and care for the Family, Culture, Country, Sports and Mother Earth through rhythmic dance performances which included Puppet show, Qawwali etc. They effectively used humour to convey the message of embracing our heritage reviving the diminishing values and ethical behaviour for better and bright future. The Chief Guests applauded the students for their flawless performance and encouraged them to imbibe values of love and care to stay united and strong.

Regional Director Punjab Zone -A Dr. Neelam Kamra praised the initiative by the young students which sensitized and awakened the audience to focus on moral values and ethics. The Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar gave his blessings and told the children to follow the path of love and care to be successful. Principal, Dr. Neera Sharma expressed her happiness and thanked the elite gathering for their support. Our Co–curricular incharge Miss Shama Sharma Ma’am and our Cantt Incharge Miss Anuradha Grover Ma’am left no  stone unturned to bring out the best and groom the students .
