Grand programs will be organized on birth anniversary of Baba Jassa Singh Ahluwalia
New Delhi, Apr. 22 (Punjab Post Bureau) – DSGMC is going to organize Kirtan Samagam, Khalsa sports and Delhi Fateh Divas on the occasion of celebrating 3rd birth century of the great Sikh commandant Jassa Singh Ahluwalia. This information given by DSGMC President Manjit Singh G.K. & General Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa while talking to journalists in the DSGMC Office in Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib.
G.K referred that birth century come on 3rd May will celebrate by SGPC and Nihang jatha of Budha Dal. Nagar Kirtan will start from Shri Akal Takht Sahib on April 22 and will reach at Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib in Delhi on 26th April. After that Khalsa sports will be held on 27th & Delhi Fateh diwas will be celebrate at Lal Qila Maidan on 28-29 april. G.K. said that DSGMC is trying their best to convey the history of Baba Jassa Singh Ahluwalia as like Baba Banda Singh Bahadar, so that people should aware about former jathedar of Shri Akal Takht Sahib Baba Jassa Singh Ahluwalia who was awarded by the title of Sultan-ul-kaum.
G.K while questioned on the death of Bhai Harminder Singh mintoo who was locked in Patiala Prison and expressed his worry about the protection of Sikhs Prisoners. G.K said that the investigation was being processed against NRI Jaggi Jauhal & Bhai Mintu by Punjab police & N.I.A in the case of Target Killing of Hindu leaders in Punjab. G.K said that According to their information Investigation Agencies were trying to run their arrows in the air in this matter. For this reason last days, N.I.A sought 90 days from court to submit charge sheet against Jaggi Jauhal. G.K questioned that Bhai Mintu died due to cardiac rest on that day when anti protest were held against PM Narender Modi for the releasing of Jaggi Jauhal during the visit of England, Is there any other reason for not having any evidence so that Bhai Mintu had lost his life?
G.K referred the petition filed by Delhi based Cyclist Jagdeep Singh Puri in Supreme Court to wear Turban instead of Helmet in the competition and announced to enter in this case through DSGMC. He said that nobody can compel Sikh cyclists to wear Helmet. With all these, G.K said to give letter to Delhi based entrance examination centers for the ban on metallic things in “NEET” Medical Entrance Test conduct by CBSE on 6th May. He also mentioned to file a case in HC through DSGMC.
Sirsa said that people now come to know about the history of Baba Baghel Singh, Baba Jassa Singh Ahluwalia and Baba Jassa Singh Ramgarhia after the beginning of Delhi Fateh Diwas program organized by DSGMC. Sikhs were also did not know about the Sikh Commandants before 2013. So that DSGMC try to convey the history among people. Sirsa while referred the question put by SC about Turban cleared that Turban is the integral part of Sikhism. This cannot be referring as the thing of fashion at any cost. Sirsa showed his anxiety about the distrust sentiments causing by Judiciary. DSGMC former President Avtar Singh Hit surprisingly showed that our country accepts the slavery of British Empire, but forget the 1000 years of slavery of Mughals, Pathans and Lodhis. Whereas British Empire did not harm our religious places during their reign. Whereas other invaders had spoiled our religious places
