Independence Day Celebrated in SGHPS Bhagtanwala

Amritsar, Aug. 14 ( Manjit Kaur) – Students of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School celebrated the 68^th Independence Day on August 14, 2014 with great zeal and enthusiasm. This occasion was graced by the Members Incharge S. Surinder Paul Singh Walia, S. Ajit Singh Basra and S. Navtej Singh Narang. The National Flag was hoisted by the worthy guests and National Anthem was sung.

To arouse the feelings of patriotism among an Inter House Patriotic song Competition was held. The school bubbled up with activity when the young girls of the school presented the Punjabi Folk Dance ‘Giddha’. The Members Incharge addressed the students and gave away the prizes to the winners of the competition. In the end the Principal Mrs. Kanwalpreet Kaur appreciated the efforts of staff and students and also thanked the distinguished guests.
