DAV Students Participate in Anti Drug Drive

Amritsar, July 27 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road participated in the Roller Skating Marathon sponsored by Rolling Skating Welfare Association  from Wagah Border to Jallianwala Bagh. The students dedicated their feat to the Jallianwala Bagh Memorials’ 100th year of establishment and to give a message of  Drug free Punjab. The young skaters took four hours to cover a distance of 40 km nonstop.  The students were Mehak Gupta, Ghanika Sanan, Navya Arora, Pavit Loona, Kashvi Sharma, Yash Sapra, Yuvraj Mahajan, Divyansh and Tanisha Sanan.

         Regional Director Punjab Zone A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar appreciated the students for their remarkable efforts and blessed them for their future endeavours. Dr.  Neera Sharma, Principal of the school applauded the students and said that such anti drug drives send a positive message amidst the rampant drug abuse reports, bring awareness among the people and help in combating this illness.
