Tourism Students of BBK DAV bag top positions in B.A. Journalism & Mass Comm, Sem- II & IV exams

Amritsar, 20 August (Jagdeep Singh Saggu) – Harshita Jain of B.A. JMC Semster-II & Queency Arora of B.A. JMC Semester-IV of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, have topped the GNDU exams held in May 2014. Harshita has secured 405 marks out of 550, while Queency has secured 401 marks out of 550. Also Jasleen Kaur, Mansi Arora, Akanksha Sareen and Ashita Mehra have bagged second, fifth, sixth and eight positions respectively in Semester-II. In Semester IV exam, Barkha Chadha of the college has stood second and Shipra Kondle, Shreya Arora, Aishwarya Sharma, Vanika Sabharwal and Abhilasha Kapoor have secured third, fifth, seventh, eight, and tenth positions respectively. “The results have been overwhelming and the college is proud of the achievers. The dedication of the students and teachers of the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication have shown satisfying results,” said Vice Principal of the College Mrs. Manbir Kaushal.
