DAV Public School selected for Nationals in Table Tennis and Skating

Amritsar, Nov. 12 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road has been selected for Nationals in Table Tennis and Skating. Dav Public Players performed stupendously in the Zonal level DAV National Sports Tournaments organised recently at Global DAV Public School Patiala and Police DAV Public School Jalandhar.

Ekta Sareen of Std-VII, Nimya of Std–V  and Aayna Mahajan of Std – X and in U–19 boys , Rakshit Mohla of Std–X  also emerged winner in U–19 girls Table Tennis tournament held at Patiala.

            Mehak Gupta of  Std–X won 3 Gold Medals, Rahul Rai of Std –X 1 Gold Medal and One bronze Medal, Abhishek Malhotra of Std–XII won One Gold Medal and One bronze medal and Mehak Malhotra of Std – IX also won One bronze medal In Skating Tournament held at Jalandha.

            Samreen, Mannat, Kashish Arora and Pragati of Std –X  won Bronze Medal in the Basket ball team (Girls)  of the school.

The Table Tennis team and Skating students have been selected for the DAV National Sports Tournament.

Regional Officer Punjab Zone–A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated the students for their brilliant performance. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school expressed her happiness on the performance of the students.
