Mega Workshop” organized by Department of Design (Foundation)

Amritsar, Sept. 13 (Punjab Post Bureau)- BBK DAV College for Women Department of Design (Foundation) organized a “Mega Workshop” in which the renowned Fine Arts expert Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sen from Delhi (Pidilite Industrise Limited), guided the students in 3D Art and creating the Best out of Waste. More then 60 students participated in this workshop. In this three days workshop students worked in different mediums and showed their interest and enthusiasm in working in different art fields like Traival Art, 3D Looking Mirrors, Mix Media and Fevicol Paintings, Textile Textures, 3D Mask painting, Wall Hangings, Canvas Painting etc. The Foundation Department also organized an exhibition.

Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and Dr. Neeru Chadha (Registrar) visited the exhibition and appreciated the student’s art work. Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra exhorted the students to achieve good marks and success in their coming exhibition. On this occasion Head of Department, Mrs. Mandeep Sokhi, Prof. Lalit Gopal, Prof. Jaspal Singh, and Prof. Kajal Sharma appreciated the student’s efforts.
