DAV Public School Celebrates Independence Day with Fervour

Amritsar, August 16 (Punjb Post Bureau) – DAV Public School Lawrence Road celebrated Independence Day with great fervour. The students paid their reverence to the great freedom fighters who laid down their lives to attain independence. The students of the school sang patriotic songs, recited poems and also staged a role play highlighting the sacrifices made by great martyrs. The whole atmosphere echoed with the slogan ‘Vande Matram’ which roused patriotic passion among the students. A colorful and vibrant dance anointing Mother India was also presented by the students.

Regional Officer Punjab Zone A Dr. Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar sent their best wishes on this occasion and advised the students to play an active role in uprooting corruption and taking the country to new horizon.

Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school extended her greetings to the teachers, students and their families. She also added that we must try to tread the path of courage and grit and endure all odds like a true fighter.
