Amritsar, September 19 (Punjab Post Butreau) – Dr. Anchal Arora a young, energetic, renowned social activist, an educationist, a critically acclaimed actress, playback singer, international anchor, poetess, shayara, painter, dancer, theatre artist, photographer, motivational public speaker has made Congress Party and the whole Punjab proud on becoming Member of Punjab Youth Development Board by Chief Minister Maharaja Captain Amrinder Singh and Sports & Youth Welfare Minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi. Dr. Anchal Arora is a multi-faceted, multi-talented and a multi-dimensional personality working as an assistant professor in commerce in PG Department of Commerce & Business Administration, Khalsa College Amritsar who always let her passions and ambitions ignite in her. She won lots of awards such as Daughter of New India by Ministry of Women & Child Development Council of India, Woman Architect of the Society by Punjabi Samvaad, Best Artist of the year award from Indian Academy of Fine Arts and Punjab Council of Art & Literature, Best Singer at National Level (First in North India) and many more.

Prof. Arora is a smart as well as a hard worker, an outstanding orator who always catches the attention of the audience with her poetic quotes, inspiring poems and positivity. She is working as a social worker from last so many years and performed numerous activities such as tree plantation, making people aware about importance of education, raging a protest against female foeticide and drugs, to voice her opinion against corruption through her speeches and plays.

Dr. Anchal Arora has been appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for India by World Cancer Care Society, U.K to spread the word regarding early detection of cancer and cure for diabetes. Yoga & Pranayama is her first love since childhood. She performs and make people around her learn the same. She is working on environmental protection and health of the people. Infact, her doctoral thesis was also related to the same topic.

Dr. Anchal Arora thanked Chief Minister Maharaja Captain Amrinder Singh Ji, Sports & Youth Welfare Minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi Ji for trusting upon her abilities, potential and capabilities. She promised that as she has been selected on the basis of her talents & creativities, she will leave no stone unturned to work for the betterment & development of the youth of Punjab and to take the horizons of Punjab at Global Level. Dr. Arora said that with the support of the Government and under the guidance of Sports, Youth Welfare & NRI Minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi, she will work more vigorously in the areas such as women empowerment, drug eradication, promotion of sports & health activities, stoppage to female foeticide, growth of extra-curricular activities in youngster, promotion of Punjabi Culture & Heritage and tying up with Indian Diaspora especially Punjabis for bringing investments, placements & projects for the growth of youth particularly.
